Minesweeper Nova
Minesweeper Nova is the classic logic puzzle rebuilt for a lobby. Solo mode is pure tradition: beginner, intermediate, and expert boards plus a custom size, a count-up timer, and instant defeat on the first mine. Shared Sweep is where it becomes a party game: the entire squad clears one synchronized board that scales up with headcount, racing a countdown clock on a pool of team lives, with every reveal tinted in the color of the player who cleared it.
Points flow for reveals, flood fills, and correct flags, and drain for mines and reckless un-flagging, feeding an MVP scoreboard with accuracy stats. The first click is always safe in both modes, so every board starts with real information.

Rules of Engagement
- 01Solo mode: classic Minesweeper at beginner (9x9, 10 mines), intermediate (16x16, 40), expert (30x16, 99), or a custom size. One mine ends the run.
- 02Shared Sweep: two or more players clear one synchronized board that grows with the squad, from 16x16 with 40 mines up to 24x18 with 95.
- 03The shared board runs on a countdown timer and a pool of team lives; hitting a mine costs the team a life.
- 04Numbers show how many mines touch a cell. Flag suspected mines with right-click, long-press, or the flag-mode toggle; only the player who placed a flag can remove it.
- 05Shared scoring: points for numbered reveals and flood fills, a penalty for mines and wrong un-flags, and a bonus per correct flag at victory.
- 06Your first click is always safe. The team wins by revealing every safe cell before time or lives run out.
Strategic Intelligence
- Start from corners and edges; their numbers constrain fewer neighbors and crack open faster.
- A number touching exactly that many unrevealed cells means all of them are mines. Flag them and move on.
- In Shared Sweep, split the board into zones so two players never gamble on the same frontier.
- Chase flood fills: large empty regions score well and hand the whole team new numbers to work with.
- Do not guess with team lives. Park the 50-50s, sweep elsewhere, and come back when neighboring reveals settle them.
Tactical Suitability
For logic puzzle fans who have swept a thousand solo boards and want to hear friends argue about a 50-50 out loud. Solo mode suits purists chasing clean expert times, while Shared Sweep turns the same deductions into a cooperative race that works surprisingly well on voice chat.
