Box Circuit
Box Circuit is Game Night Central’s synchronized line-claiming strategy game for two to four players. Everyone shares one glowing grid from their own device. Players take turns routing a single open connection between neighboring nodes; completing a box captures it, scores one point, and immediately grants another move. A carefully chosen line can close two boxes at once, while a careless move can hand an entire chain to the next player. The match ends when every box belongs to someone, and the highest score controls the circuit.
Rules of Engagement
- 01Two to four lobby members take a colored circuit seat before the host starts the match.
- 02On your turn, claim one unclaimed horizontal or vertical line between neighboring dots.
- 03If your line completes a box, you capture that box, score one point, and take another turn.
- 04One line may complete two neighboring boxes, awarding two points and another turn.
- 05Players who join after the match starts spectate until the next round.
- 06The match ends when all sixteen boxes have been claimed. The highest score wins; equal top scores produce a draw.
Strategic Intelligence
- Early in the match, prefer lines that do not create the third side of an empty box.
- Watch for connected chains: sacrificing one box can sometimes force an opponent to open a much larger run for you.
- Before claiming a box, check whether the extra turn lets you continue through adjacent boxes.
- With three or four players, plan for the player immediately after you rather than only targeting the current leader.
